And we’re back! Took a brief break from blogging over the holidays and while I’m still getting over a miserable cold, it’s time to get back to business. I still can’t believe it’s 2013.
Over the next couple of days you’ll see a couple of changes with Simply Epalf. Can’t wait for you all to see what’s in store for my blog!
Took a week hiatus from blogging to enjoy the holidays and recover from this cold I got over Christmas. I’ll be back to regular programming later this week, so have no fear!
I’m ready for 2013! Hope you all had a fabulous 2012, my blog survived its first year and I’m ready to take it to the next level in 2013!!
This will quite possibly be my last “snapshots” post of the year! Yet another year to look forward to. Hope you all get some rest and relaxation in the coming days. I know I need it! I’ve been uber busy trying to be Santa’s little helper.
I’m uber excited to unveil what I have in store for Simply Epalf. It’s been a good first year of blogging, but it’s time to turn it up a notch! Stay tuned!!

Gave the beanie look a shot. Thoughts? I usually don’t stray too far from baseball caps when it comes to head wear, but fashion is all about trying new things no?

Last month, I got the opportunity to model (sounds weird saying model) for United By Blue‘s fall and winter look books. My friend from college, the master mind behind the lovely photographs above, works for UBB and put together a mini-reunion/frolicking picture session for all of our friends who are still in the DC area. It was such a fun experience and I loved reuniting with old friends!
United By Blue has great quality products and if you’re still on the search for Christmas presents I’d definitely check them out – http://www.unitedbyblue.com. I have my eye set on the MacKenzie Tote! It’s the ultimate multi-purpose bag.
Thank you Katie for putting this all together! To see more of her work, you can check her out here – http://www.katharinefriedgen.com. We’re also working on another project together, so stay tuned!!
Another round of Holiday Wear inspiration! Got an office party coming up? Here’s some outfit inspiration. I thought I’d do an outfit per office dress code. I work in a business professional environment, but I know others are luckier than me! Some days I dream of coming to work in something more casual and I live for our jeans days, even though I still have to pair it with something business casual.
What will you be wearing? Any recipes you have on hand for holiday potlucks?

Sunday football is one of my favorite things about fall! A quick post today, just showing some Redskin love!! I’ve been waiting for a Redskin revival. The “battle of the beltway” game had me on the edge of my seat. Hail to the Redskins!
